Concept Local was founded by two internet marketing pioneers who worked together in the early 90’s, through the Internet boom, and later branched out to become top E-commerce and Online Marketing executives in large corporations.

Gina Kearney: CEO & Founder 
Gina Kearney is an online direct marketing and e-commerce industry veteran with more than 15 years of online marketing experience. Prior to founding Concept Local in 2007, she successfully managed Internet acquisition for Bookspan, the largest book club operator in North America (Book-of-the-Month, Doubleday, Literary Guild, etc.). As Bookspan’s Director of Internet Marketing, Gina had responsibility for all Internet acquisition marketing activities ranging from media placement optimization and creative to search, email, and platform development. Under Gina's direction, Bookspan successfully marketed and managed websites for 35 online properties resulting in the acquisition of 100,000,000 new book cub members per year.
Gina also served as the Vice President of Marketing & Operations at Sendtraffic.com, an online search agency, where she successfully managed the Account Services division for pay-per-click advertisers until their acquisition in 2001.
As the Vice President of Direct Marketing at iVillage, the online women's network, she launched a direct marketing email division that grew from $0 to $15 million in a three year period.
Additionally, Gina has many years of direct response, local and geo-targeted online marketing, SEO, SEM, data collection, database marketing, affiliate, creative and website development, media buying, technology and platform development, and online promotional experience.
R. Andrew Kinney: President & Co-Founder
R. Andrew Kinney has worked on Internet initiatives since before the Web existed. He has over 15 years of experience in Internet development, E-commerce and Online Marketing.
Andrew’s career began in 1994, working on the pioneering Net Guide series of Internet manuals under the tutelage of Michael Wolff, founder of one of the world’s first Internet businesses. At the birth of the World Wide Web Andrew joined Time Warner’s Court TV, where he oversaw the station’s first online venture, CourtTV.com.
In 1996 he became the first partner at the online marketing start-up Promotions.com, where he created and managed the popular online marketing website Webstakes.com. The company would grow to over 150 employees and a Nasdaq IPO prior to be being acquired by iVillage.
Andrew then joined a Fortune 1000 corporation and became Director of E-commerce, where he oversaw all Internet strategy and development for a number large consumer brands. Andrew and his team grew the organization’s online sales into millions of dollars.
Andrew is intent on using all of his E-commerce and online marketing skills to help teach small organizations how to effectively compete online.
